Task Force 11 visits Knox County Fiscal County Meeting

FRANKFORT, KY (April 29, 2004) - Members of the Region 11 WMD Task Force visited County Judge Raymond Smith and members of the Fiscal Court earlier this week.  Team Commander Brian Reams addressed the Court and described the process from which the team was established and the purpose of the team.  The task force has been functioning since March 1, 2004 and has had four fuel spill calls and one incident on I-75 involving Sodium Hydrosulfite.  Reams thanked the Court for their support and for the volunteer members that Knox County provides to the task force. 

The next scheduled Fiscal Court meeting is Tuesday May 11, 2004 in Bell County.
